This procedure is typically used for identifying and diagnosing the actual cause of pain in the abdomen or pelvis or miscarriage. The doctors mostly recommend this procedure to examine the inner organs, including the liver, appendix, gallbladder, stomach, spleen, colon, pancreas, and the reproductive organs.
